Poem Written by Danielle Stierhem, my loving daughter. Written at age 12.

Baby Horses

As I cross a meadow to see a baby
I trot under a tree that is very shady

They say she's cute, they say she's sweet,
As she climbs to her delicate feet

I see her standing by her mother
Then I watch her nurse with brother

I saw them play in the field together,
In the beautiful, clear and sunny weather

Soon I join in the play,
In a sweet playful horsey way

Cause you see, I'm a filly too,
As I read my poem from me to you!
